Step 2 -
Open the client. Then, click Email under the Set up an account section.
Step 3 -
On the prompted window, fill in your name, enter your email address and password, then press Manual Configuration in lower left corner..
Step 4 - This will bring you to this pop-up window to manual enter your email account information. For the Incoming server, you will need to select IMAP or or POP3. Then enter the appropriate server settings and ports.
POP3 (POP) Email account
Incoming Server: pop.ieditweb.com Port 995 using SSL or Port 110 without SSL
Outgoing Server: smtp.ieditweb.com Port 465 using SSL or Port 587 without SSL You must enter your User Name and Password in the Outgoing Server section
IMAP Email Account*
Incoming Server: imap.ieditweb.com Port 993 using SSL or Port 110 without SSL
Outgoing Server: smtp.ieditweb.com Port 465 using SSL or Port 587 without SSL You must enter your User Name and Password in the Outgoing Server section
Step 5 - Select the Re-test button to test your account settings. If everything is good, then click Done. If you are receiving an error message, please review your settings for typos or transposed characters.
*NOTE: iEditWeb stores email messages for 60 days on our server. On the 61st day we will remove email messages from your InBox, Trash and Spam.
If you are using IMAP protocol, please create folder(s) to move email messages you wish to keep until YOU remove them.
If you are using POP protocol, any email messages you have downloaded in an email client, Outlook, Thunderbird, etc., we remain in your email client till you remove it regardless of which folder the email is placed.
